This spring, the Mass Dems Organizing Hub is partnering with the Arizona Democratic Party to call Arizona Democrats and let them know how to sign up for the state’s Active Early Voter List. Voters on this list are automatically sent an early ballot for each election in which they are eligible to vote. By increasing awareness of this option, we are helping to remove barriers to voting and hope to contribute to strong Democratic turnout in this critical state.

We welcome new volunteers and provide training, but note that this is not your typical phone bank! We are using a manual dialing system (OpenVPB), and when a voter expresses interest in signing up for the early voter list, we send them a text message with more information. Some callers like making informational calls to Democrats using a relatively simple script, but some find the technology difficult or prefer the higher contact rate possible with an autodialer.
