Join Swing Blue Alliance volunteers to learn about how to use social media for political action: to counter disinformation and promote democracy and progressive policies. This is a three-part training; you may sign up for one, two, or all three.

(already occurred) The March 12 session is offered by Indivisible Truth Brigade, which has easy-to-use tools to fight disinformation online.

March 20 session: We will hear from Demcast about which social media platforms target various demographic groups, and then learn how to spur political action among your contacts on social media by using the DemCast social media toolkit. You will learn how to sign up for DemCast and how to make it work for you.

April 1 session: Participants will learn strategies to increase their reach by following industry leaders and increasing their followers, amplifying messages, leveraging hashtags and trending topics, and other approaches.
