1- We are calling strong Democrats to engage volunteers and voters in the Charlotte/Mecklenburg County area. Mecklenburg has more registered Democrats than any other county in NC, but they vote at lower rates. Increasing Democratic turnout in Mecklenburg is critical to turning NC Blue. We are working with All in For NC

2- We are also working to elect Safiyah Jackson to NC state House District 37 and flip this seat. Currently, the Republicans have a supermajority in both their House and Senate. In the House they have a supermajority by only one vote. There is a good chance that Democrat Josh Stein will be elected as Governor in November. If Safiyah wins, the Republicans won’t be able to override his veto
