The New Hampshire Democratic Coordinated Campaign’s Voter Protection team is working to ensure that every voter has access to the polls and that every vote is counted. To accomplish this, we need your help! Please join us for one of our trainings to be a hotline volunteer before and/or on Primary and/or General Election Day.
Hotline volunteers play a key role in supporting our state-wide hotline by providing callers with important information and assistance prior to and on Election Day. Our volunteers directly answer calls and texts received on the hotline and help record important information for our team. New Hampshire voters call the hotline for a wide variety of reasons – with questions related to voting in New Hampshire (e.g., how to register to vote and where/when to vote), reporting incidents on Election Day (e.g., long waiting lines, closed polls, denial of ballots), and everything in between.
We will train, assign, and support you to make sure that you are as prepared and effective as possible on the hotline. No previous experience is necessary. You do not need to be a New Hampshire resident or present in the state to volunteer as a hotline volunteer.
You must attend at least one training to be a hotline volunteer.
If you have any questions, please contact us at voterprotection@nhdp.org.
