De-ICE Hanscom invites you to picnic and stand with us this Friday, May 1, at the Hanscom Rotary (see details below.) Please join our peaceful, nonviolent protest, with the goal of eliminating ICE transport flights from Hanscom Field. NOAA predicts mostly-sunny skies with a high of 59. Picnic from 12:30-1:30. Standout from 1:30-3:00.

Many of you have written to Massport and Governor Healey using our Stop ICE Flights campaign page. Those messages helped prompt Governor Healey to send two formal letters demanding an end to ICE flights at Hanscom.

We have now identified a clear legal pathway to stop the flights. Under 740 CMR 25.03, no commercial passenger aircraft with more than 60 seats may operate at Hanscom. The FAA classifies ICE charter carriers such as GlobalX and Eastern as commercial passenger service, and because this rule dates back to 1980, it is protected from federal preemption.

Massport will only act with public pressure. Please send the new letters on our campaign page, even if you have written before. They are making a real difference.
