Democrats elected convention delegates at caucus February 28

Democrats in Arlington held a caucus Saturday morning, February 28, to elect delegates to the 2026 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. The caucus was held in the Town Hall Auditorium.

Elected as Arlington’s 37 delegates were Carole Allen, L. Ashley Aronow, Barbara Atkins, Robin Bergman, Lynn Bishop, Shane Blundell, Colin Bunnell, Robin Cohen, Sonya Coleman, Daniel Collins, Colby Cunningham, Jacob Deck, Susan Doctrow, Anne Ehlert, John Galligan, William Gardiner, Amy Goldstein, Camilla Haase, Sharon Hannon, Julie Holt, David J. Levy, Faton Limani, William Logan, Michael O’Connor, Anita Pliner, Samuel Polk, Cynthia Revelle, Jennifer Roderick, Paul Schlichtman, Ira Schlosser, C. Edward Schwartz, Laurence Slotnick, Amy L. Slutzky, Rieko Tanaka, Michael Watson, Edward P. Witham Jr., and Aaron Zemetres. Elected as alternates were Jason Haas, Charles Hannon, Pearl Morrison, Janice Pagliasotti, and Amy Reese.

Chair Stephanie Swanson will serve as an ex officio delegate. Other Arlingtonians serving as ex officio delegates are Marlene Silva and Sonya Quinlan-Khan, who serve on the Democratic State Committee, as well as State Representative Sean Garballey and State Senator Cindy Friedman.

At this year’s state convention, to be held Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30, at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA, thousands of Democrats from across the state will come together to endorse candidates for statewide office and unite to elect Democrats down the ballot in November of 2026.
