Over 40 Democrats in Arlington held a caucus Monday evening, May 5, to elect delegates to the 2025 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. The caucus was held in the Community Room of Robbins Library.
Before the caucus began, Arlington Democratic Town Committee Chair Stephanie Swanson welcomed attendees.
Elected as Arlington’s 24 delegates were Barbara Atkins, Robin Bergman, Elinore Charlton, Robin Cohen, Daniel Collins, Colby Cunningham, Jacob Deck, Silvia Dominguez, Anne Ehlert, Dan Goguen, Zachary Grunko, Camilla Haase, Pearl Morrison, Michael O’Connor, Janice Pagliasotti, Lisa Pedulla, Amy Reese, Peter Rich, Robin Romine, Ira Schlosser, Yonatan Schreiber, Amy L. Slutzky, Edward Witham Jr., and Aaron Zemetres.
Chair Stephanie Swanson will serve as an ex officio delegate. Other Arlingtonians serving as ex officio delegates are Marlene Silva and Sonya Quinlan-Khan, who serve on the Democratic State Committee, as well as State Representative Sean Garballey and State Senator Cindy Friedman.
At this year’s state convention, to be held Saturday, September 13th, 2025, at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA, thousands of Democrats from across the state will come together to adopt a party platform.
